Jokes – I wonder (Jan 2nd, 2014)

I went out to throw away waste in a big refuse bin. On the side of the bin was a political poster that read: ‘Together we can make it.’ I wonder: together with whom? Is it me or the waste?

I was walking by a street side when I saw this notice written in front of a house, ‘To let.’ May be they meant ‘To lent.’ I wonder, what if one mischievous person adds an ‘I’ to make it ‘Toi let’, what would a man having a running stomach and was frantically looking for a public toilet make of it?

I was in a public bus. The young conductor was having an altercation with a well-dressed middle-aged man. The conductor said: ‘You don’t know me in this town. See, I [have] background.’ I guess the message was that he was well-connected. I wonder: what kind of good social connections can make one a mere bus conductor?
